ZoningFeed started when founder Andrew Baisley served on a local Design Advisory Board in Vermont and saw how hard it was for practitioners — and neighbors — to follow planning discussions across towns. The product exists to make those municipal records usable for commercial diligence without turning them into speculation.
Mission
Be the municipal registry of record for commercial real estate: planning decisions, site plans, and zoning actions — structured, searchable by region, and always tied to the source that published them.
Coverage philosophy
We focus on Southern Vermont — Rutland, Bennington, Windsor, and Windham — so depth beats a thin national scrape. Coverage expands town by town when portals are publishable and maintained, not when a map looks complete on a slide.
What we never do
- Invent applicants, votes, square footages, or conditions that are not in the source.
- Present rumor or secondary commentary as municipal fact.
- Lead with technology theater — the registry should feel like a public record, not a pitch deck.
